We aim to understand how factors such as sleep patterns, daily routines, and behaviors influence learning, attention processes, academic performance, and mental health in 8th-grade students. Our goal is to identify effective strategies that support student success, improving both educational outcomes and overall well-being.
As children transition into adolescence, their sleep schedules often shift due to changes in their biological clock, hormonal fluctuations, academic demands, increased technology use, and heightened social pressures. These shifts can have significant effects on learning, attention, behavior, and overall well-being. Sleep disruptions during adolescence may lead to long-term impacts on mental health, academic performance, cognitive development, and social functioning. This study highlights the critical role of sleep in adolescents, with the goal of better understanding its influence on the brain and behavior during this transitional period.
